Short- and long-term inventory storage with pick-and-pack, cross-docking, and ERP-integrated inventory data.

What does a warehousing engagement with Deltagvivid include?

More than racked storage — an active inventory management layer that connects your supply chain.

Our Halifax facility covers 28,000 square feet of racked and bulk-storage space, climate-zoned for ambient, chilled-ambient, and dry-goods inventory. Every pallet position is tracked in our warehouse management system, which produces live stock-level data accessible through the client portal. Clients using Deltagvivid for warehousing typically also use our domestic or last-mile services, allowing inbound freight, storage, and outbound dispatch to be managed within a single operational account. We offer pick-and-pack fulfilment for e-commerce and wholesale clients, with same-day dispatch available for orders received before 13:00 Halifax time. Cross-dock capability is available for clients coordinating inbound ocean containers with outbound domestic FTL departures on the same day.

Warehousing services at the Halifax facility

Each service tier is designed around a specific operational need, not a padded bundle.

Short-term storage

Minimum two-week commitments for import buffer stock, seasonal overflow, or project-based cargo. Billed weekly per pallet position with no minimum pallet count under 50 units.

Long-term storage

Monthly contracts for ongoing inventory programmes, with dedicated racked locations, quarterly physical counts, and discounted rates for commitments over six months.

Pick-and-pack fulfilment

Order-level picking, packing, labelling, and carrier handoff for e-commerce and wholesale clients. Integration available with Shopify, WooCommerce, and EDI-capable retail partners.

Cross-dock

Same-day transfer from inbound to outbound vehicles, reducing dwell time and eliminating storage costs for through-traffic cargo on coordinated arrival schedules.

Honest limits on what warehousing delivers

Storage is one part of the supply chain — we are transparent about where our role ends.

Deltagvivid's warehousing service operates within a defined scope: we manage inventory inside the Halifax facility and coordinate outbound dispatch through our own or partner carriers. We do not provide temperature-controlled storage below 4°C, nor do we handle hazardous goods classified above IMDG Class 9. Clients with pharmaceutical, perishable, or dangerous goods requirements should discuss their specific needs before booking. Inventory accuracy at our facility is guaranteed above 99.5% on cycle counts, but discrepancies resulting from incorrect inbound counts at origin are the shipper's responsibility to reconcile. We provide clear intake documentation precisely to prevent these situations — but we cannot guarantee accuracy for cargo received without a verified piece count.

We consolidate two overseas suppliers into Deltagvivid's Halifax facility before dispatching to retailers. The cross-dock turnaround on container day is typically under four hours. For a company our size, that is the difference between making a retail floor date and missing it.
