Crossing borders without the friction

Canada's international trade environment is complex; our team manages the regulatory layer so your cargo clears cleanly.

International shipments fail not because of distance but because of documentation errors, misclassified harmonised tariff codes, or missing certificates of origin. Deltagvivid assigns a dedicated trade-compliance coordinator to each new international client, who reviews every shipment against the applicable export and import regulations before the booking is confirmed. We maintain active agent relationships at Halifax Stanfield International Airport, the Port of Halifax, and partner gateway facilities in Toronto and Vancouver. Our standard international service includes HS code classification support, preparation of commercial invoices and packing lists, and liaison with the Canada Border Services Agency on your behalf. Clients with ongoing import programmes benefit from our quarterly trade-compliance review, which flags regulatory changes that could affect their commodity categories.

Active trade lanes from Halifax and gateway ports

We maintain established agent networks on routes that Canadian businesses use most.

United States

Road and air cross-border freight under CUSMA, including ISF filing, FDA product clearances, and bonded warehouse options at the US entry point.

Europe — Germany & Netherlands

Ocean LCL and FCL services from Halifax to Hamburg and Rotterdam, with EUR1 and ATR documentation support for clients exporting Canadian goods.

Asia — Japan & South Korea

Consolidated ocean freight from Vancouver and Halifax to Yokohama and Busan, with Japanese and Korean customs brokerage handled by our in-country partners.

What the client receives at the conclusion of an international shipment

Documentation, compliance records, and cost transparency — delivered alongside the cargo.

At the close of each international shipment, Deltagvivid provides a complete file containing the commercial invoice, bill of lading or airway bill, customs entry documentation, and a cost breakdown showing freight, origin charges, destination handling, and duties paid. For recurring import clients, the compliance coordinator prepares a customs activity summary quarterly, listing entry numbers, duty paid, and any examination events. There are no origin-charge surprises: all origin fees are quoted and locked before cargo departs. Deltagvivid does not provide freight insurance directly — we recommend and can arrange coverage through accredited marine insurers — and we are not responsible for delays attributable to government-imposed border inspections outside our control.

We import precision components from Yokohama four times a year. Since Deltagvivid took over the customs coordination in 2022, we have not had a single examination hold-up. Their trade coordinator knew our HS codes better than our previous broker did after two years.
